2026 FIFA World Cup Super Eagle confidence in Chelle
Super Eagles Forward Tolu Arokodare has revealed that he and his team-mates have received a huge boost from head Coach Eric Chelle’s confidence in the team. Arokodare, who earned his maiden call-up to the super eagles under Chelle, spoke ahead of Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA world cup qualifier against Rwanda later today.
Nigeria will face Rwanda in the evening at the Amahoro stadium in Kigali. Speaking to Nigerian reporters in Kigali ahead of the game, Arokodare said Chelle is a very confident coach with a plan—he knows what he wants and how he wants to play. According to Arokodare, when you are playing under a coach like that, you know exactly what you have to do. Nigeria is yet to win a game in the qualifiers in group c. They currently sit in fifth place in the group, only ahead of bottom-placed Zimbabwe.
