OGUN: Lawmaker passes bill on appointment of Principal Officers

Ogun State House of Assembly has passed a bill institutionalizing the appointment of the principal general in the state civil service. The bill passed during the Thursday plenary, clearly defines their functions and responsibilities. Chairman of the house Committee on Education, Science and Technology, Honorable Yusuf Amosun moved a motion for the adoption of the report on the bill presented during the plenary.

The bill was seconded by Honorable Olakunle Sobukola, while the majority leader, Honorable Yusuf Sheriff, moved the motion for the third reading of the bill, seconded by the minority leader, Honorable Lukman Adeleye The speaker, Honorable Oludaisi Elemide, ordered that a clean copy of the bill be sent to Governor Dapo Abiodun for his approval
