Tinubu to Niger Delta leaders: Ask Fubara to implement Court Rulings on Rivers Crisis

President Tinubu has urged Niger Delta leaders to Counsel Governor Siminalayi Fubara, to comply with court rulings on the crisis in Rivers State. Tinubu spoke on Tuesday during a meeting with representatives of the Pan-Niger delta forum (PANDEF) at the presidential villa in Abuja.
The president says Nigeria is governed by the rule of law and the judgment of courts on the Rivers State Political crisis must be obeyed to return peace to the state. Supreme Court in its recent ruling on the political crisis scrapped the last October local government poll, and reinstated Pro Wike lawmakers as the authentic members of the State House of Assembly.
Fubara had sacked the chairmen and Councillors of the state’s local governments to comply with one of the judgment, and promised to implement other legs of the judgment.
Do you think implementing Supreme Court Judgment could resolve the political crisis in rivers state?
