#Quitake – Protests: Judiciary Complicit in Oppression of Nigerians, says Farotimi

Activist lawyer, Dele Farotimi, has lamented that the rot in the Nigerian judiciary has continued to plague major actors like judges who now allow them to be used by politicians and persons of means to “oppress” and “suppress” the masses.
Farotimi stated this as a guest on inside sources with Laolu Akande, a socio-political programme on channels television, says that Nigerians have lost hope in the judiciary,
Farotimi lamented that the judiciary no longer protects the interest of the common man but members of the elite who could afford the economic means to get a “vestige of justice”.
He said there is the need for lawyers and judges to look at themselves and tell themselves the truth, that what they have done to themselves and their children is not sustainable
According to Farotinmi, they have destroyed this country and if they don’t call themselves back, it will be beyond redemption very soon.
Do you share his view that Nigerians have lost hope in lawyers and judges?
