Bandits attacked Farmers in Akure
Armed bandits have killed twenty farmers in attacks in four communities in Akure, the Ondo State capital. The communities were Aba Alajido, Ademekan, Aba Sunday and Aba Pastor. The attacks were carried out last Saturday on the farming communities left at the mercy of the gunmen.
Policemen deployed to the communities picked 14 bodies from the communities, while search for more bodies still ongoing. Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the attacks, She said the command was tracking the gunmen.
