NDLEA uncovers kiddie store selling cannabis laced cookies in Lagos

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have uncovered cannabis laced candies at a kiddies shop at Surulere axis of Lagos

The candies laced with a strong strain of cannabis, was rebranded as normal sweets and being sold to children

NDLEA spokesman, FEMI BABAFEMI on his x post on Sunday, said the shipment of the candies arrived to the country from the UK, last February 27

He named the suspected recipient of the candies AS ADEDAMOLA TAYLOR who was arrested in march 4

Babafemi said ADEDAMOLA claimed to have delivered the candies to one MONSURAT LAWAL who operate the kiddies shop

NDLEA asks parents to be vigilant about the sweets and snacks which their children are taking to schools or bring home.
