NCDC recorded highest cases of measles so far since 2024
Six hundred and 27 suspected cases of measles were recorded nationwide within January this year, Nigeria centre for disease control (NCDC) Says the recorded suspected cases far below 2,157 reported in January 2024.
The centre Director General, Doctor Jude Idris who announced the update on Wednesday said the suspected cases were recorded in 38 local government areas in 18 states Katsina state, according to him, leads with seven local government areas, followed by Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi and Sokoto States With Three Local Government Areas each
