Federal Government drops Remita for Revenue collection

Presidency has unveiled a new revenue collection platform called treasury management and revenue assurance system. The new platform which will incorporate the current REMITA platform, went live on Tuesday in a phased roll out. Accountant general of the Federation, Oluwatoyin Madein announced the new system in a statement issued on Tuesday.

She said it would enhance treasury management, revenue collection and budget performance by federal ministries, departments and agencies According to her, MDAS using REMITA to access fund would now transit to the new platform from Tuesday using the website of the office of the accountant general of the Federation
