Four North West State Governments Have Shut Down All Schools for the Ramadan Period, The States Are Kano, Katsina, Bauchi and Kebbi. Those Affected By the Closure Order, Include Public Primary and Secondary Schools, As Well As State Owned Tertiary Institutions.
All Schools Operating In the Four States Are Directed To Comply With The Directive, To Enable Students Observe The Holy Month In Their Homes. Also Affected Are Those Offering Extra Lesson Programmes
Katsina Hisbah Board Says It Would Enforce the Shutdown, Private School Operators in the Four States Have Protested the Decision to Enforce the Directive, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has Already Threatened To Go To Court If the Decision Is Not Reversed
