FIFA Qualifiers, Nigeria to play against Rwanda in Kigali as Eagles Captain battle injury

Super Eagles Captain, William Troost-Ekong, is battling with injury ahead of the Team’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Troost-Ekong has missed his Saudi Club, Al Kholood’s Last Two League Games due to a muscle injury.

Al Kholood are yet to release a report on his health status. Head Coach, Eric Chelle will be hopeful he recovers in time from the injury. Already, Semi Ajayi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Raphael Onyedika are already injured and doubtful for the qualifiers. Nigeria will face Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, March 21, and Host Zimbabwe four days later.
