Ogun State Government Boast of viable Environment for Business

Ogun State Government has attributed its strategic location, excellent infrastructure and investor friendly policies  as key factors that has  continue to make the State the preferred destination for business in Nigeria.

 The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun stated this while declaring open the 14th Gateway International Trade Fair   Themed, “Promoting  Business through Partnership.”  at the Mko Abiola Trade Fair Complex on Tuesday.

 Governor Abiodun represented by the State Commissioner For Agriculture and Food Security, Hon Bolu Owotomo said the State Government has facilitated significant investment across business sector through strategic engagement with both local and international investor  ,this efforts he said have further solidified the  state status as the industrial Capital of Nigeria.

According to the Governor, his administration remain dedicated to ensuring that business thrive by implementing the  right Policies, offering incentives and providing necessary infrastructure that would support industrialisation. He further stated that his administration has in recent years, made remarkable progress  in improving the ease of doing business in the state thruogh innitiative such as ogun state investment promotion and facilitation agency (Oguninvest)and the ogun state enterprise development agency [OGSEDA].

Governor Abiodun, opined that the theme for the fair is both timely and profound as it underscores the critical role of colaboration in driving Economic Growth. He pointed that the theme is more than just a slogan but a call to action for all in todays rapidly evolving Global Economy, according to him ‘the strength of business lies not  in individual effort but in the collective power of strategic partnership.’

The Governor commended Ogun State chamber of commerce industry mines and Agriculture for providing a robust platform for business to showcase their product and services to diverse investor and Entrepreneur

Delivering his Goodwill Message, the Rwandan ,Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Christophe Bazivamo, thanked Ogun State Government and the Ogun State chamber of commerce Industry, mines and Agriculture (Ogunccima), for inviting them to participate in the fair.

In his welcome address, president Ogunccima. Lion Niyi Oshiyemi appreciated the Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun’s unwavering support and dedication to the Business Community. He solicited from the state government provision of state of the art facility at the trade fair complex to allaign with International best practices which will compliment the ISEYA Agenda of Driving Industrial Growth.
