AMERICAN LIFT BAN ON THE LAW FORBIDDEN BRIBERY IN NIGERIA OTHERS TO GET CONTRACTS

A law in the United State forbidden its companies from bribery officials in pursuit of Contracts has now been suspended by the Donald Trump Administration, Donald Trump on Monday approved an Executive Order instructing the country’s Justice Department to hold prosecutions under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the US law prohibiting American citizens and businesses from bribing foreign government officials to gain or retain business.
The suspension which now allows American Companies to kickback Government officials in Nigeria and other Countries in to get contracts without fear of been prosecuted or face the wrong side of law.
There has been cases whereby some American Companies had early involved in bribery cases in Nigeria since 2009, some of the bribery issues between Nigeria officials of Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR), a subsidiary of US oil and energy contractor Halliburton, for bribing Nigerian government officials.
