October 3, Declared Public Holiday To Mark Independence Anniversary

Monday, October 3, 2022, has been declared a public holiday to mark Nigeria’s sixty second independence anniversary.

Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, who announced this in a release asks Nigerians to use the occasion to reflect on challenges facing the country, and the roles which individuals could play in adressing them.

Aregbesola congratulating Nigerians on the  anniversary, says Federal Government will not abandon Nigerians in the face of the dire economic and security challenges facing the world which also affected the country.

The Minister promises that Federal Government will continue to tackling the challenges with all the might at its disposal.

According to him, Nigeria will be the world’s greatest nation if its over 200 million people could rally themselves together to harness their potentials.
