Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state has said the north west region would determine the fate of presidential candidates in the 2023 poll.
Tambuwal, who was a PDP presidential aspirant said the region could determine the outcome of the 2023 presidential poll.

He stated this while receiving members of the interim leadership of the PDP Atiku support group at the Sokoto government house in Sokoto.
According to him, the region is the most strategic for any presidential candidate, because it has the highest number of registered voters among the six geo-political zones.
He predicted that presidential campaign in the north west region would be more vigorous because it has no strong candidates for the 2023 presidential poll.
