2023 Polls: NSA Asks Governors To Call Their Thugs To Order
The National Security Adviser (NSA), retired Major General Babagana Monguno, has warned state governors unleashing thugs on political opponents, ahead of the 2023 polls.
Monguno on Friday, said that president Muhammadu Buhari had ordered that the 2023 polls and the electioneering campaigns must be free and fair.

The security chief issued the warning in Abuja at the inter-ministerial briefing on the Buhari administration scorecard at the presidential villa, Abuja.
He warned that some of the governors are implementing policies which are preventing political opponents from displaying their electioneering campaign material, ahead of the 2023 polls.
The national security adviser blaming the attitude of the governors on inferiority complex, asked them to restrain their thugs.
Monguno said security forces would soon moved against the thugs and their sponsors across the state.
