2023: Kwankwaso Promises Free Registration For UTME, NECO And WAEC

The presidential candidate of the new Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has promised free registration of candidates for examinations conducted by joint admission matriculation board (Jamb) if elected during the 2023 poll.

Also to be made free were examinations conducted by the west African examination council and national examination council.

Kwankwaso who made the pledge while unveiling his manifesto to Nigerians in Abuja on Tuesday, also said his administration would elongate the life span of the results of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for four years.

The NNPP presidential candidate also pledged to mop up the 20 million out-of-school children in Nigeria in the next four years.

He promises a new Nigeria where priority would be given if elected, to agriculture, security and education.

According to Kwankwaso, the spate of security challenges facing Nigeria, would be  tackled with maximum deployment of technology and the complete overhaul of security architecture in the country.
