2023 Census Exercise Shifted To May 2023
The take off of the 2023 National Population and Housing Census has been shifted.
The exercise to be conducted by the National Population Commission will now hold in May, 2023. It was initially scheduled to begin March 29, 2023.
Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed announced the shift in the take off of the exercise at the Presidential Villa, at the end of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
The minister, addressing the state house correspondents, said the exercise was shifted due to the last minute postponement of the March 11 poll to March 18, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
