2023: Atiku Promises To Rescue Nigeria If Elected
The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has promised to rescue Nigeria from poverty, insecurity, hunger and disunity if elected in the 2023 polls.
He made the pledge at the flag off of his ‘Rescue Nigeria presidential campaign in Uyo on Monday.
Atiku accuses the APC of plunging Nigeria into poverty, disunity and insecurity within its seven years in power.
He recalled how the PDP managed to reposition Nigeria it inherited from the military in 1999, to emerge as Africa’s largest economy.
The PDP candidate, however, says that the exit of his party from power in 2015, has plunged Nigeria into uncertainty, insecurity and hunger.
Recall that former President Olusegun Obasanjo has asked Nigerians to be at alert to prevent politicians from wrecking the country.
Obasanjo says that Nigerians will regret if they allowed politicians with no fear of God to win the 2023 polls.
He spoke on the issue while receiving the newly elected President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Most Reverend Daniel Okoh, at his residence in the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex, Abeokuta.
