The first lady, Aisha Buhari, has urged all political parties to consider a female as running mate for their candidates at all levels of the 2023 polls.

Aisha Buhari made the call on Saturday night while hosting presidential aspirants of all the political parties for the 2023 polls to a Ramadan break at the presidential villa, Abuja.
The first lady asks political parties to consider the voting strength of women and their active involvement in the political process.
She explains that her proposal would ensure the greater participation of women in elective positions.
