Married prospective youth corps members have been directed to report at the orientation camps in the states of their husbands.
The initiative would enable married female youth corps members to serve in the states of their husbands.
Director General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaib Ibrahim, announced this in a nationwide virtual address to the 2022 ‘batch a’ stream two.
He directs them to report at the orientation camps in the states where their husbands reside, with certificate of marriage, evidence of change of names in a newspaper and other marriage documents.
The documents are expected to have been uploaded during registration for the NYSC scheme.
