Siblings Convicted for Stealing Fans In Ogun Central Mosque

An Ota magistrate court has jailed two siblings three month each for stealing two fans from a mosque in Ota, Ogun state.

The accused, 20 year old Anu Akinsanya and his younger brother, stole the fans valued at 44 thousand naira from the Iwoye Central Mosque, Ota last march 17, according to the prosecutor, inspector E. Adaraloye.

Magistrate A. Adeyemi in his ruling said the prosecutor had proven his case beyond reasonable doubt.

For stealing the fans, he sentenced each of them to three month jail term, without an option of fine.
